The Permian Basin Juried Art Exhibition is an annual art exhibition hosted by the Ellen Noël Art Museum in Odessa, TX. Works of art are submitted and the juror chooses which artworks are shown in the exhibition and which receive prizes. In 2019, Alyssa accepted all submissions of art works and passed them on to juror Tina Fuentes of Lubbock, TX. Once the artworks to be included in the exhibition were chosen, Alyssa informed each artist how they could bring their artwork into the museum, accepted each drop off, chose the arrangement of the artworks, and hung each artwork. When the exhibition reached its end date, Alyssa also took down each artwork and oversaw artist pickup of the artworks.

LADIES IN RED

Ladies in Red was an exhibition of objects from the Clothing and Textiles Collection at The Museum of Texas Tech University. Each object was primarily red in color and some were important pieces of clothing relating to Texas history and the history of Texas Tech. Alyssa assisted in choosing objects for the exhibition, dressing mannequins for photography and display, arranging mannequins in the gallery, arranging objects in display cabinets, updating the collections database to reflect objects being included in the exhibition, and putting objects back in storage once the exhibition ended.
